This collection speaks of the human of our age a soul who, through a concealed journey, becomes emptied of its own essence
and is transfigured into a form not born of its origin.
The figures, standing upon the threshold between the human, the distorted, and the bestial,
are signs of a fall:
the surrender of the inner self to illusion, to the shadow of imagination, to the echo of imitation.
Transmutation is a contemplation of that subtle moment
when the human being is no longer the bearer of the divine breath,
but a mirror reflecting only the world’s image—
a visage estranged from its own source.
